Regenerative Skin
Microneedling with PRP in Brooklyn, NY
Texture, tone, pores and scarring — treated with your own platelet-rich plasma. $400 a session, or $500 with salmon DNA, brightening serum or under-eye Rejuran.
What It Does
Your own biology, put to work.
Microneedling creates thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin. The skin responds by laying down new collagen, which is what firms texture and softens scarring over the following weeks.
PRP is the concentrated platelet layer drawn from a small sample of your own blood. Applied into those channels, it delivers your own growth factors directly where the healing is happening. Nothing foreign goes into your skin.
What it helps with
- Rough or uneven texture
- Acne scarring and post-inflammatory marks
- Enlarged-looking pores
- Fine lines, particularly around the mouth
- Overall dullness and loss of firmness
This is a course treatment. One session gives a glow; the structural change comes from a series, which is why the package is priced the way it is.

Advanced Sessions
Three ways to go further
Each of these is a full microneedling and PRP session with something extra layered in. They are $500 rather than $400, and which one suits you depends on what you are treating.
PRP with Brightening Serum
For uneven pigment and dullness. Aimed at tone rather than texture — the choice when the complaint is patchiness or post-inflammatory marks left behind by old breakouts.
PRP with Salmon DNA
Polynucleotides that support skin repair and hydration alongside your own growth factors. Suits thin, dehydrated or easily irritated skin that needs calming as well as remodelling.
PRP with Rejuran for Under Eyes
The same class of ingredient, placed specifically under the eye, where the skin is thinnest and crepiness shows first. Treated on its own or alongside the rest of the face.
Before & After
How to prepare, and what to do after
Microneedling is a controlled injury that your skin then repairs. Preparing the skin beforehand and leaving it alone afterwards is most of the result.
Before your visit
- Stop retinoids, exfoliating acids and scrubs about five days beforehand.
- No waxing, laser or hair removal on the area for two weeks.
- Drink plenty of water the day before and the morning of — we take a small blood draw for the PRP and it is easier when you are well hydrated.
- Eat before you come, and skip alcohol for 24 hours.
- Arrive with a clean face and no makeup. Tell us if you get cold sores.
After your treatment
- Your skin will look flushed and feel hot and tight for 24 to 48 hours. That is the expected response, not a reaction.
- No makeup for 24 hours. Gentle cleanser and a plain moisturiser only.
- No retinoids, acids or vitamin C for five days.
- No gym, sauna, steam, swimming pools or anything that makes you sweat for 48 hours.
- Daily SPF from the next morning, and stay out of direct sun for a week. New skin burns easily.
General guidance only. The instructions Phoebe gives you at your appointment take precedence over anything on this page.
Questions
Common questions
Does it hurt?
Numbing cream goes on for about 20 minutes first. Most people describe it as a gritty, scratchy sensation rather than sharp pain. The forehead and along the jaw are the least comfortable areas.
How much downtime is there?
You will look sunburnt for 24 to 48 hours, with some tightness and mild flaking for two or three days. Plan it for a Thursday or Friday if you would rather not be seen red at work.
Why the blood draw?
A small sample is taken from your arm and spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich layer. That layer is what goes onto your skin. It is your own material, which is why the allergy risk is essentially nil.
When will I see a change?
There is a glow at about a week from the initial healing. The collagen change is slower — it builds over four to twelve weeks and continues after the course finishes. Judge it at three months, not at three days.
How many sessions will I need?
Four is the usual course for texture and scarring, spaced four to six weeks apart. Some people maintain with one or two a year afterwards. We will give you an honest read at the consultation.
Who should not have it?
It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with active acne or a skin infection in the area, with certain blood disorders or if you are on blood thinners, or with a history of keloid scarring. We take a full history first.
