How to judge a med spa
Reviews are useful, but they are also the easiest thing on a website to fake. Here is what is harder to fake, and worth more:
- Published prices. A clinic that hides its pricing is planning to work out what you will pay once you are there.
- Consistent before-and-afters. Look for a recognisable style across many faces, not one dramatic transformation.
- Faces that still look like themselves. If every after photograph has the same cheeks and the same lips, that is a house style, not a plan for your face.
- Willingness to say no. Ask what they would decline to do. A clinic that has no answer will sell you anything.
- Who is actually treating you. Ask their qualification, and ask whether they will be the one holding the syringe.
